IBAN and payments

This section provides information regarding online payment methods as provided for by Article 36 of Legislative Decree no. 33 of 14 March 2013 and as indicated by ANAC Resolution 1310/2016 and by Article 5, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 7 March 2005.

Online payments to the Italian Medicines Agency must be made through the POL online payment system, integrated with the PagoPA platform referred to in Article 5, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 7 March 2005.

Entities not resident in Italy or not holding bank accounts with banks that have an agreement with the PagoPA payment system may make payments to AIFA by bank transfer in EUR to the following bank accounts:

Foreign entities are invited to use the main BIC/SWIFT code of Banco BPM (BAPPIT22), to facilitate foreign banks in making payments.
