This section contains documents shared by the Italian Medicines Agency with learned societies on specific issues.
The published documents, relating to the scientific evidence available to support the most frequently used off-label medicines in the field of palliative care, respectively in the paediatric and adult populations, were drawn up by the working group composed of the Italian Society of Palliative Care and the Italian Medicines Agency. The main objective of these publications is to certify the off-label use of well-established medicines in palliative care despite the absence of data from the related clinical trials.
