Launch of procedure and set up of 5% pay-back platform - 2021
The 5% pay-back mechanism is governed by Law no. 296 of 27 December 2006 (2007 Budget Law), as amended. This mechanism concerns pharmaceutical expenditure and allows pharmaceutical companies to ask AIFA to suspend the 5% price reduction for the medicinal products of which they hold a marketing authorisation against payment (pay-back) of the related countervalue to specified current accounts indicated by the Regions.
