Following numerous talks with pharmaceutical companies targeted by precautionary measures, the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) has adopted decision no. 79/2021. Such decision has been published on the Agency’s institutional website and concerns the reallocation of pharmaceutical expenditure payback charges for direct purchases in 2018 (pursuant to article 15, paragraph 8, of Law Decree no. 95 dated 6 July 2012, converted with amendments into Law no.135 dated 7 August 2012, and pursuant to article 1, paragraph 398, of Law no. 232 dated 11 December 2016).
