The Italian Medicines Agency, within the rolling review of usable medicines for COVID-19, has decided to include the drug tocilizumab in the list of medicines referred to in Law 648/1996 for the treatment of hospitalised adults with severe COVID-19 and/or with high levels of systemic inflammatory indices, in rapidly worsening clinical conditions.
