Users of Pharmaceutical companies/Organisational secretariats/Providers are advised that on 17 July 2024 (from 3.00 p.m.) the following changes to the "Authorisation of Conferences and Meetings System" will be released.

Modification of the file
This change will enable all organisers of an event (provider and/or secretariat, if multi-sponsor; company, if single-sponsor), prior to evaluation by AIFA, to modify the following information in the system:

• Title;
• Total hours;
• Province;
• City;
• Venue;
• Topic;
• Single file;
• Speakers;
• Event date (by postponement or advance, the latter only if the new date still complies with the standard and therefore with the 60 days).

Please note that modification of the "State", "Region" and "FAD Event" fields will not be permitted.
Following the evaluation and/or approval of an event by AIFA, the only fields that may be modified, regardless of the status of the file, will be:

• Speakers (modification possible up to the day of the event);
• Province (modification possible up to 1 day before the event);
• City (modification possible up to 1 day before the event);
• Venue (modification possible up to 1 day before the event);
• Event date (modification possible up to 2 days before the event).

NB: for multi-sponsor events, only the event organisers will be able to make the changes mentioned above.

Application consultation section for providers and secretariats
A section has been made available, only for providers and/or secretariats managing a multi-sponsor event, for consulting the progress of the list of applications associated with each file.

For privacy reasons, only the columns relating to "File", "Application", "Pharmaceutical Company", "Status", "Title", "Start Date" and "End Date" will be visible.
