New National Pharmacovigilance Network (RNF) launched
The new National Pharmacovigilance Network has been launched as of 20 June 2022, which modifies the system whereby suspected adverse reactions to drugs and vaccines (ADR) are collected, managed and analyzed in Italy.
The innovations include a new international standard format for reporting suspected adverse reactions, which, as from 30 June 2022, shall be used in all EU countries to send and receive reports to and from the EudraVigilance System.
To report an adverse reaction, it is possible to access the new online method directly from the AIFA portal or use the new forms for healthcare professionals and for patients/citizens.
