Direct communication with healthcare professionals on Kisqali (ribociclib)
The Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), in collaboration with the European Medicines Agency (EMA), communicates a change in the storage conditions and the validity period of the medicine Kisqali (ribociclib).
- New storage conditions: Kisqali should be stored in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C for a maximum of 10 months before dispensing. After dispensing, it can be kept at 25°C for up to 2 months.
- Reduction in validity period: The total validity period of Kisqali is now 12 months.
The product information has been updated to reflect these changes.
