New access procedures for AIFA online services from 19 October 2026
From 19 October 2026, the access procedures for AIFA online services will change. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be introduced for users who sign in with credentials, strengthening access security. “Le mie abilitazioni” (“New Authorization Request”), the new application for requesting access to AIFA applications, will also become available.
Company User Administrators and Approvers will instead use the new “Gestione Abilitazioni” (“Approvals Management”) application to review and approve requests. Users concerned are invited to consult the “Guida per l’accesso ai Servizi Online” (“Guide to Accessing Online Services”), which provides operational instructions and full details of the changes.
Please note that existing AIFA Online Services users will not need to register again and will retain their current access permissions to the applications. No action will be required if one of the following strong authentication methods is used: SPID, CIE, CNS, or eIDAS.
However, when using credential-based authentication with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), users will be required to configure their preferred channel for receiving the One-Time Password (OTP) the first time they log in.
