The Italian Medicines Agency has published on its institutional portal a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs) on pharmacovigilance to clarify doubts and uncertainties relating to the issue.

Reports on the results of pharmacovigilance activities will also be published on a monthly basis. The monthly frequency was chosen in order to gather sufficient data to ensure robustness of analyses, comparisons and evaluation.

Such Reports will be primarily aimed at showing the results of the association analyses of the events reported with vaccination and, where possible, will contain reference values and expected values to facilitate judgment on safety of the various vaccines.
