European Project IncreaseNET: the market investigation for the provision of training courses on pharmaceutical innovation will close on 22 September

Interested parties have time until 22 September 2025 to participate in the market investigation launched by AIFA as part of the European IncreaseNET project with the aim of identifying universities and/or public or private research institutes interested in delivering training courses for experts of National Competent Authorities (NCAs) in two innovative and challenging areas in the pharmaceutical field.
The first concerns Organ-on-Chips, miniaturised biotechnological devices that mimic the behaviour and physiology of human organs and can be used to test the safety and efficacy of medicines, reduce the use of animal testing and personalise treatments.
The second is RNA Therapeutics, a class of drugs that use RNA molecules to regulate gene expression or to correct molecular dysfunction.
The IncreaseNET project, funded under the European program - Joint Action EU4Health 2021-2027, involves 29 partners, mainly National Competent Authorities in the pharmaceutical sector, and aims at strengthening their skills and competencies in the evaluation of medicines.
AIFA coordinates some specific objectives of the project, including the update of the technical and scientific skills of regulatory authorities through training courses focused on innovative issues and delivered by academia and research institutes.
