Press release no. 3/2024 - The Board of Directors of the Italian Medicines Agency met today, convened and chaired by the new President Robert Giovanni Nisticò, appointed by decree of the Minister of Health, in agreement with the Permanent Conference for Relations between the State, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano, after hearing the Minister of Economy and Finance.   

The Board of Directors gave the green light to the rules governing the functioning of the Scientific-Economic Committee; with its adoption, the process of overcoming the previous CTS/CPR commissions has been completed.

The following members took part in the work: Francesco Fera, Member designated by the Minister of Health; Emanuele Monti, Member designated by the Minister of Economy and Finance; Angelo Gratarola, Member designated by the Permanent Conference for Relations between the State, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano; Vito Montanaro, Member designated by the Permanent Conference for Relations between the State, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
The meeting was attended by the Administrative Director Giovanni Pavesi and the Technical and Scientific Director Pierluigi Russo, as required by the new Rules.
