The Use of Medicines in Italy. AIFA presents the National Report 2021
The National Report 2021 "The Use of Medicines in Italy", produced by AIFA's National Observatory on the Use of Medicines (OsMed), will be presented on Friday 29 July at 10am.
The Report illustrates pharmaceutical consumption and expenditure in Italy in the territorial and hospital context, analysing both purchases charged to the National Health Service and those sustained by citizens.
One of the important new features is the analysis of new therapeutic entities, given their impact in terms of pharmaceutical expenditure and expected benefits.
Greater emphasis has been placed on time trends, to capture changes in prescribing trends, to intercept health changes in the population and to analyse the impact of certain regulatory actions.
The presentation will be streamed on AIFA's YouTube channel.
