Report on clinical trials concerning medicinal products in Italy
The Report is drafted according to data provided by the National Observatory on Clinical Trials of Medicines, a scientific-technical tool which aims to ensure epidemiological surveillance of pharmacological clinical trials performed in Italy, by monitoring their qualitative and quantitative trends over time.
The Report provides a public, accurate and certified analysis of clinical studies carried out in Italy, also highlighting the presence of Centres performing pharmacological clinical trials, the types of research conducted and the distribution of ethics Committees.
